Student Drop-off/Pick-up

Student Drop-off and Student Pick-up

Student drop-off will take place at 8:30 A.M. Entry doors will not be open until that time.
Regular Dismissal Time is 3:35 P.M.
Drop-off and pick-up area is at the same location please check the image below for visual representation of pick-up/drop-off map.

Parents/Guardians enter from Dorlan Mill Road.
Parents follow the drop-off loop by turning at the first right and proceeding around the loop.
Please do not drop students off or park in the Staff Parking Lot.
Parents turn left at the the driveway and exit onto Dorlan Road.

FID Schedules

During the 2024-25 school year, DASD plans to utilize Flexible Instructional Days (FIDs) for the first five inclement weather days. All levels will begin at 9:00 A.M. and end at 1:30 P.M. Visit the FID webpage to learn more.

Educational & Family Trips

Persons in parental relation may request that their child be excused from school attendance to participate in an educational trip not sponsored by the school district. Since regular class attendance is a critical component of a student’s education program, the educational benefits of the trip should outweigh the negative impact of the disruption of the student’s educational program.
