MC Orientation Dates August 2023

Dear Marsh Creek Parents,

As we begin the month of August, I wanted to let you know that we will be sending out several updates related to the start of the school year in the coming weeks. All of the information included in our email blasts may also be found on our website. We have scheduled separate orientation sessions taking place this month - one for each DASD elementary school. The goal of our orientation sessions is to familiarize students with the building, our numerous clubs and activities, and to practice using a locker for the first time.

The sessions will be identical, so students may attend any session based on convenience for you and your family. You do not need to contact us in order to switch to a more convenient session.

We will also schedule a make-up session on the morning of the 21st, from 8:30-10:00 AM.

The orientation sessions will run as follows:    

Tuesday 8/15	Wednesday 8/16	Thursday 8/17
S1 – BC	S1 – LE	S1 – UH
S2 – BH	S2 – PV	S2 – WB
S3 – BW	S3 – SC
S4 – EW	S4 – SM	No Afternoon Sessions

Session Times:

(S1) 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM

(S2) 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

(S3) 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

(S4) 1:30 – 2:30 PM

If, for any reason, you are not able to attend a session during the week of August 15th (or the make-up session on the 21st), we will schedule a time for a self-tour by calling/emailing our office on or after August 7th.

Student schedules will be available through Infinite Campus on August 14th, prior to our orientation dates. We will be sending out additional information on how to access student schedules prior to the 14th.
